Hey Friend! I’m Sydnee 🙂
My interests are always changing, and so is my life. I’m steadily learning how to do new things and how to do old things a little better. But the one thing that stays the same is my passion for spending my time well with the people I love, and creating a life that I love that inspires and encourages others to do the same.
Hey, thanks for stopping by!
I’m Sydnee. I’m wife to Ben, and we’ve been married just a little over 10 years. We have three sweet kids: Diesel (7), Maverick (5), and Hollyn (3). I’m a Homeschool Momma and work full-time as a Creative Director, and I’m grateful to be able to do both!
I love to read, and learn new things. I love naming people, animals, random things and Ben’s business ideas (he’s a serial entrepreneur). I come up with at least one musical parody a day, and you’ll find me singing something around the house subconsciously. I love to explore my city, and will always have at least 3 options of “what to do around here.” I’m a reformed foodie — I love to cook, bake and try new takes on old favorites with organic, fresh ingredients. I’m a creative through and through, and when I get inspired, you’ll find me with with a calligraphy pen, paintbrush, Adobe CC, or maybe publishing a blog. I love a clean, organized home, but I live here and so do my kids so it’s like a daily puzzle/challenge I enjoy solving and simplifying each day (with major help from my tidy husband).
Most importantly, I believe in Jesus! He saved me, and l did nothing to deserve it. I believe my life exists to point others back to Him. I hope that it does that, but I am a fallen human and can be a little sassy, selfish and impatient sometimes so I have to pray for His help on the daily!

A bible verse that encourages me
Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. It is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest, eating the bread of anxious toil; for he gives to his beloved sleep.
Psalm 127
His word is truth
